ABOUT
The participatory action research intervention PROTIC has been initiated to begin specifically addressing women’s economic empowerment in agriculture for resilience. The project partially fulfil the knowledge management requirement of ‘Resilience through Economic Empowerment, Climate Change Adaptation, Leadership and Learning (REECALL) Program’, which considers economic development, women’s transformative leadership, rights and governance, and Climate Change adaptation and disaster risk reduction are the pillars for the development of poor, marginalized and vulnerable people towards resilience.
DIGITAL SERVICES
The project participants are equipped with smart phones and are trained on the use of the device along with internet use. Information regarding agriculture and agro metrological are being provided to them through SMS, Out Bound Dialler (OBD), Interactive Voice Response (IVR) and Call Centre support. Communities are also being acquainted with social media platforms like Facebook, Youtube, hardware and software like camera, internet, games and different modes of mobile apps (both in online and offline) through continuous training, consultation meetings, workshops and seminars

Pollisree is a local Non-Governmental organization was established in February 1987 implementing various socio-economic activities for development of poor and oppressed people.
SHUSHILAN
Shushilan is a national Non Government Organization for development of eco-sensitive community, established in 1991 and ever change its inception started working to address the problems of coastal people related to resoruce management and good governance.
CNRS
CNRS(Center for Natural Resource Studies) is a non-government, non-political development organization formed in 1993 focuses on ecological management of floodplain ecosystem through community based management approaches.
WINMIAKI
Win Miaki Ltd. works for the development of agriculture sector in Bangladesh. We call it as low cost agricultural input helpline where farmers get the advanced agri information on agriculture, livestock, fisheries and nutrition empowering farmers through access to information on local market trends via ICT.
